Good cheap food and drinks. Service is nice. Show up 10-15 minutes after starting time because they don't open right at 11.
Open Rice Kitchen's food is amazing for the price. It is the perfect place to go after a few drinks with some friends. Although, the Singapore vermicelli was too spicy for me. Their popcorn chicken was alright, it was tough and stiff but not terrible. Their beef chow mein was a little too salty for my liking but still tasty. The pork belly fried rice was super good! I'm definitely going to order either that or their ORK fried rice again.
For the price, its very good. Pork belly fried rice, salted fish fried rice are both good. If you're looking for something fancy this isn't it, but if u want something yummy, satisfying, and the right kind of greasy then chefs kiss.
Taste good and affordable for students. Portion sizes are just right. Love the Singapore style noodles and thai tea.

Open Rice , I pleasantly surprised by the fantastic value and delicious offerings on their menu. I opted for the Singapore Style dish priced at an incredibly affordable $7.00, and it turned out to be a satisfying portion that left me feeling thoroughly satisfied. The Singapore Style dish consisted of a choice between chow fun or vermicelli, stir-fried with egg, succulent shrimp, flavorful BBQ pork, vibrant bell peppers, onions, and crunchy bean sprouts.
But that's not all! I was also thrilled to find a refreshing boba drink on the menu at an astonishingly low price of $2.50. It's rare to come across such a deal for boba drinks, especially in the Davis area. The boba drink perfectly complemented my meal and added a touch of sweetness to the overall dining experience. When it came time to pay, I was amazed that my total bill came to around $10. Considering the quality and quantity of food I received, this value was simply mind-blowing.

Almost 2 hours from us but will be our go to date night spot! Food is cheap, delicious and comes out quick. Staff are very friendly, dining area is fairly clean and overall ambiance is pretty chill. Parking is convenient and I like that it's wheel chair accessible. I highly recommend the Thai tea and crab wontons , also $30 for 4 people is awesome!
Its cheap, its affordable it tastes good, but its nothing fancy. You get what you pay for. Its great food for a night out and always open late.
